Find Your Next Hobby
Maybe you came here looking for help with the hobby you already have.
Maybe you’re about to start one.
Or maybe you have absolutely no business picking up another hobby, but you’re going to look anyway.
You’re in the right place.
The Hobby Cabinet is where I keep all the things I’ve made, grown, built, tried, researched, restarted, and occasionally become completely obsessed with.
Some hobbies have earned an entire drawer. Others are still bouncing around the cabinet waiting to see where they belong.
So, what sounds good today?
The Cozy Drawer
For hobbies that make staying home the plan.
This is the drawer for slow afternoons, rainy weekends, and projects that pair particularly well with a blanket and something good to drink.
Come here when you’re looking for something relaxing, comforting, or just pleasantly unproductive.
The Garden Drawer
For when you’d rather be outside.
Seeds, flowers, dirt, garden projects, experiments, and all the lessons that come from trying to convince something to grow exactly where you want it.
Some things thrive. Some things get moved three times. We learn as we go.
The Making Drawer
For the irresistible urge to make something.
Crafts, DIYs, experiments, and projects that usually begin with I could probably make that.
Sometimes we absolutely can.
Sometimes we learn why people buy it instead.
Either way, it’s more fun to find out.
The Miniature Drawer
For making very, very small things into a surprisingly big hobby.
Miniature rooms, tiny furniture, kits, tools, techniques, troubleshooting, and all the oddly specific questions that appear once you start building things at a fraction of their normal size.
If you’re wondering which glue actually works, whether you really need that tool, or why that tiny chair is taking an hour to build, start here.
The Plant Drawer
For the hobbies growing inside the house.
Houseplants, terrariums, propagation, tiny ecosystems, plant projects, and experiments involving an ever-increasing number of containers filled with dirt.
Come for the plants.
Stay because apparently you need another plant.
The Miscellaneous Drawer
You know the one.
Every cabinet has a drawer full of things that don’t belong anywhere else.
This is mine.
It’s where you’ll find the hobbies, curiosities, experiments, and projects that haven’t earned their own drawer—or simply refuse to be categorized.
You never really know what you’re going to find in here.

Don’t Know Which Drawer to Open?
Perfect.
That’s half the fun.
Start with whatever catches your attention. You don’t have to be good at it. You don’t have to turn it into a side hustle. You don’t even have to stick with it forever.
You’re allowed to make something simply because making it sounds fun.
And if you end up with one more hobby than you came here with?
Well.
There’s always room in the cabinet.
