Why i picked it
I chose this one because it comes with everything you need to put it together aside from the batteries (although I’d use different glue, see my post about my favorite glues here). That makes it a good option for someone who doesn’t want to worry about buying or having other tools available.

What makes a good first book nook?
Well, that all depends on you! A good first book nook should be fun enough to get you hooked without making you question every decision that led you to this moment. Look for a kit with clear instructions, pre-cut pieces, manageable wiring, and a reasonable build time. Kits that include most of the supplies you need are especially nice for beginners—you probably don’t need to start your new hobby by buying an entire miniature workshop. Most importantly, pick a design you genuinely love. You’re going to spend several hours staring at tiny pieces of furniture, so you might as well be excited about what you’re building.
The most important part is enjoying the build. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Make it your own! These aren’t just puzzles they’re also art pieces!
What I’d Buy for My First Book Nook
If I had never built one before and wanted the easiest introduction possible, I’d choose Arcade Dating. It’s the shortest estimated build on this list, only gets one star on my difficulty scale, and even includes the dust cover.
If I wanted something that felt a little more like a proper miniature project without diving into the deep end, I’d go with Shakespeare’s Bookstore.
